COMANCO has been busy at the Polk County Landfill this year providing mainly liner repairs but also pipe repairs, well extensions, and earthwork. At the end of 2012, the COMANCO team finished the flare and blower installation as part of a larger project to install a gas collection and conveyance system for Phase III of the landfill. Last week, a crew, led by Superintendent Charlie Ingle, repaired the white liner and ballasting on Phase II of the landfill.
