COMANCO has 22 attendees for the ‘Contractor Safety Program’, Basic 16 Hour Training. This training is a requirement to obtain access to the Florida Phosphate Producers’ Member’s Chemical plant facilities. The material presented is based on the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Florida Phosphate Producers member companies safety procedures and requirements.
Some of the topics discussed, at length, are Process Safety Management, Personal Protective Equipment, Electrical Safety, etc. All attendees successfully completed the training and have received their Florida Phosphate Producers Picture Identification Card.
