COMANCO has been working on a plant closure project in Central Florida since the beginning of May and the work is coming down to the final month as work is scheduled to be complete by November. The project has involved the import and placement of 200,000 CY of soil, 7,000 tons of road base and various other tasks including seeding, pipe & debris removal and geotextile installation.
In addition, the crew has been unloading liner for a 160 acre pond liner installation project set to begin at the end of the year on the same site. The crew will be installing 1.5 million SF of textured HDPE liner, 5 million SF of smooth HDPE liner, and 1 million SF of geocomposite. The crew is being led by Project Superintendent Gary Mitchell, Project Manager Dragan Milosavljevic, and Project Engineer Nick Bridges.
