COMANCO has nearly completed the first phase of replacing liner in 20 Rapid Infiltration Basins (RIBs) at the Water Conserv II Site located in Winter Garden, Florida. The facility serves as a reclaimed water distribution center mainly focused on agricultural irrigation. The COMANCO crew started on this project in late September, and since then has installed approximately 400,000 square feet of 60 mil smooth HDPE geomembrane. The crew will be preparing to replace the liners in another 20 basins as soon as the first 20 are complete. The COMANCO team has been led by Project Superintendents Larry Graham and Jorge Barrantes, Project Manager Matt Remmert, and Project Engineer Nick Bridges.
