Today a group of newly hired COMANCO employees took a tour of the liner project COMANCO is working on at the Pasco Landfill. Project Manager Dan McRae gave us an in depth explanation of the scope of work for the liner repairs. The crew has been extending the perimeter of the 20mil rain tarp of the closed cell to ensure that excess storm water doesn’t seep into the leachate collection system.
Superintendent Todd Kirkman also took the time to explain the methods of welding liner. He gave a brief tutorial about the machines used in the field and how they are used. Luz Lopez, COMANCO HR, also took the time to meet with the crew members to go over important COMANCO policies.
Thanks again to Dan and Todd for expanding our knowledge: another group of employees left the job site as proud members of the COMANCO family!
