A COMANCO crew (led by Project Superintendents Charlie Ingle and Bill Newman) recently completed a second mobilization of a Spray Evaporation Pond project in Central Florida. This mobilization included repairing a few washouts of access roads due to rain events in September as well as the digging out of an equalizer channel using a long-stick excavator in order to promote water flow between different sections of the pond. This site will also serve as a barge docking area. There are many contractors and heavy equipment onsite, but the COMANCO crew finished this portion with no incidents.
