COMANCO’S Emerging Managers Attend FMI Institute Training

Last week, 20 COMANCO employees attended FMI’s Emerging Managers Institute at Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, FL.

This 3-day program fully immersed attendees in all things Leadership and included topics such as Managing Different Personality Types, Active Listening, Effective Communication, and Time Management. The Emerging Manager Training is designed to foster the growth and development of the next generation of exceptional managers.

This was not your old-fashioned instructional lecture-based training; this training consisted of team-building challenges scattered over each day. Let’s just say water balloons, LEGO bricks, and spaghetti noodles were part of the fun. This put many of the Emerging Managers outside their comfort zone, testing how they would react in a variety of high-pressure situations and the dreaded task of public speaking. 

But wait, there is more! The fun did not stop at the end of each training day. Our Emerging Manager’s Bass Fishing and Clay Shooting skills were put to the test as a part of the post-training activities. We think the photos speak for themselves!
