COMANCO Reaches Completion Of Landfill Cell In Southern California

The 12-man COMANCO crew led by Superintendent, Larry Graham, have completed the installation of the first four layers of a geosynthetic five-layered system on an 8.8-acre landfill cell expansion project in Southern California. The crew has managed to install over 384,945 SF of 40-mil Double-sided Textured HDPE Liner; 384,215 SF of Reinforced GCL; 384,215 SF of 60-mil Double-sided Super Gripnet HDPE Liner; 412,131 SF of 16 oz. Non-Woven Geotextile. Over 385,131 SF of the fifth layer 8 oz. Non-Woven Geotextile will be installed over a one-foot layer of crushed rock placed over the first four layers installed for the cell.
