Work is complete on a COMANCO project in northwestern Utah. The project consisted of deploying 2′ geocomposite vent strips and 2 layers of 60-mil DS textured high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane for a new landfill liquid waste pond. The project included welding rubsheets to the primary layer, liner and geocomposite venting, as well as an 8″ pipe boot and welding depth markers to the interior of the pond. The COMANCO team led by Superintendent Tommy Herrmann and Foreman Carlos Garcia completed the project safely with no incidents.
