Last week, COMANCO Environmental completed a tank liner containment project in Charleston, SC. COMANCO was contracted to supply and install a smooth 80-mil HDPE geomembrane around a concrete ring wall inside a new tank being constructed. An HDPE embed material was formed in with the ring wall prior to concrete being poured. This enabled the liner to be secured to the structure with an extrusion weld. Approximately, 7,500 SF of liner was installed with 300 LF of extrusion weld. This marked another safe, quality project completed by Max Macedo and crew.
