Under the leadership of Superintendent Martin Calderon Jr., Project Manager David Ramirez, and Project Engineer Jose Martinez, the crew demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to safety and quality throughout the job.
Tackling Challenges in Remote Terrain
This project took place in a rugged, remote area surrounded by mountains. Each day, COMANCO drivers navigated rocky roads with care to ensure the safe transportation of materials and equipment. Despite working in cold conditions, with temperatures dropping into the 30s, the team maintained a high level of productivity and professionalism.
High-Quality Materials for Environmental Protection
The crew installed Solmax 60 Mil DS Textured liner as part of a day-rate installation. The liner serves a vital role in protecting the surrounding environment by preventing potential contamination from mining operations. This installation reflects COMANCO’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.

Phosphate ore is mined and transported to Pocatello, Idaho, where it is processed into fertilizer used across the agricultural industry. The project, completed on October 9, 2025, contributes to a larger mission of supporting food production while safeguarding natural resources.
