A COMANCO crew led by Superintendent Jorge Barrantes recently completed the first phase of a South Florida Gas Mitigation project . To date, the crew has installed over 500,000 sqft of 60mil HDPE liner, 5,800 LF of Sch80 PVC gas collection header pipe, and 30,000 LF of a trenchless gas venting system – all under what will be the foundation of a new building structure. This system is a part of the effort to help South Florida better utilize its scarce land. The brownfield reuse project has provided COMANCO with the opportunity to show another customer how our core values of safety, quality, and service can add to a project.
