Landfill construction is one of the many areas COMANCO maintains proficient expertise. One crew is currently constructing a new landfill cell for Waste Connections in Central Florida.
The team has already installed over 400,000 square feet of 60mil textured HDPE geosynthetic liner and an additional 400,000 square feet of double-sided geocomposite. This geosynthetic system will keep potentially harmful chemicals from seeping from the waste into the earth and groundwater system. Geosynthetics are what protect our local ecosystems and communities from hazardous substances.
Upon this project’s completion, this new landfill cell will provide our client with necessary additional landfill space.
