COMANCO Environmental recently began work on a gypsum stack on the east coast of the U.S. The project includes installation of: – 7 sumps, – approximately 30,000 LF of drainage pipe, – 2.5 million square feet of textured 60-mil HDPE liner, – 1.5 million square feet of smooth 60-mil HDPE liner, – geocomposite vent strip underneath liner, and 36 inch drainage culverts. This project is led by superintendent Tony Sanchez and pipe foreman Gene Sowers. The crew consists of 16 men, and the expected duration of the project is 6 months.
