COMANCO Environmental recently began work on a landfill in Fort Worth, Texas. The project is a 12.5 acre sector construction that consists of a 4.2 acre liner system and an 8.3 acre overliner system. COMANCO’s work on the liner system includes installation of: – 250-mil double-sided drainage geocomposite (140,000 SF), – 250-mil single-sided drainage geocomposite (106,000 SF), – 60-mil textured HDPE liner (100,000 SF), and 60-mil smooth HDPE liner (106,000 SF). COMANCO’s work on the overliner system includes installation of: – 40-mil textured LLDPE liner (369,000 SF), and 250-mil single-sided drainage geocomposite (302,000 SF). COMANCO’s scope of work also includes the installation of a rain flap, four 6″ pipe boots, and two 4″ pipe boots. The project is already about a week ahead of schedule, and the 12 man team on site is working safely and efficiently under the supervision of Arnulfo Martinez. Keep up the great work guys.
