COMANCO is currently installing a five-layer geosynthetic system for a new 18-acre landfill cell at a waste management service in Osceola County, Florida.
This system includes geosynthetic clay liner (GCL), two layers of 60mil textured HDPE geomembrane, and two layers of geocomposite.
After battling the Florida rain almost daily, the first two layers have been installed as the crew now begins to work on the third layer.
