· COMANCO is now a member of the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA)! ACAA is a trade organization devoted to recycling materials created when coal is burned to generate electricity. Its members comprise the world’s foremost experts on coal ash and boiler slag, flue gas desulfurization gypsum or “synthetic” gypsum, and other “FGD” materials captured by missions controls.
COMANCO is listed as an Associate Member, and joins 165 other companies and individuals in this trade organization established in 1968.
The Mission of the ACAA, according to its website (ACAA Webpage) “is to advance the management and use of coal combustion products in ways that are environmentally responsible, technically sound, commercially competitive, and supportive of a sustainable global community.”
The ACAA hosts events, workshops, and other gatherings, as well as publishes a magazine and e-newsletter, in support of this mission.
