COMANCO has been working diligently on a new entrance road in central Florida for a landfill. The work includes loading, hauling, and replacing over 30,000CY of existing unsuitable material and placing over 35,000CY of soil fill to get to the road grade. Once to grade, COMANCO will place the limerock road base and finish the project with 2.5″ of asphalt. Also included in the work is expanding a holding pond onsite, supplying and installing 48″, 24″ and 18″ RCP pipe, placing a Type P Stormwater Manhole, and finishing all perimeter ditches with sod. COMANCO has been in constant communication with the scalehouse supplier, scale contractor, local electric and power pole company, and phone line company to ensure the project is running properly and sequencing the work accordingly. The project is scheduled to complete in early 2016. Attached are some aerial photos of the project.
