COMANCO Attends the Silver State Stampede in Elko, Nevada

This year marked the rodeo’s 113th anniversary. The Silver State Stampede is the oldest rodeo in Nevada and tied for the 12th-oldest rodeo in the nation. The event represents more than a century of western heritage and tradition in Elko.
Since its founding in 1913, the rodeo has remained a cornerstone of the local community and a source of pride for Northern Nevada. Its longevity reflects the enduring values of hard work, resilience, and stewardship that have helped define the region for generations.

COMANCO Assistant Project Manager David Ramirez and Project Development Nadia Pieters attended the event alongside guests from Coeur Mining and NewFields. The rodeo provided an opportunity to spend time with industry partners outside of the workplace. It also allowed conversations from ongoing projects and industry events to continue in a different setting.
