COMANCO Improves Florida Landfill Operations Through Strategic Land Management
COMANCO is wrapping up another successful site excavation and material placement project at a Central Florida landfill. Under the leadership of Supervisor Adan Loza, the crew has been hard at work moving on-site earth material for landfill use. This material is critical in supporting landfill operations and enhancing environmental performance.
Ahead of schedule, our team is finishing up material hauling operations. Next week, the team will shift focus to cleanup and sod placement to restore the site to pristine condition. So far this year, the crew has successfully hauled and placed 180,000 CY of on-site material.
One of the more challenging aspects of this project has been excavation work, which involves cutting as deep as 14 feet below the waterline elevation. This effort highlights our team’s advanced capabilities and attention to detail.
