ETP Summer Sessions Help Employees Build Stronger Careers
ETP Summer Sessions are in full swing at COMANCO, providing field employees with hands-on training and career development opportunities through the company’s Employee Training Program (ETP). Designed to strengthen technical skills and leadership abilities, the program helps employees grow professionally while supporting COMANCO’s commitment to safety, quality, and workforce development.
Over the past two months, six employees with varying experience levels participated in a focused two-day training session at COMANCO’s Florida headquarters.
Hands-On Technical Training for Field Success
The training sessions were led by experienced trainers Justin “Jay” Grenke and Sam Smith, who worked closely with participants on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of essential field equipment, including industrial sewing machines and other specialized tools used throughout geosynthetic installation projects.
These practical training exercises help employees gain confidence in equipment handling while improving efficiency, safety awareness, and jobsite performance. By returning to the field with stronger technical knowledge, participants are better prepared to contribute to successful project execution across COMANCO operations.
