When you think about FLORIDA, you may think water, water, and more water. We are proud of our white sandy beaches and deep-sea fishing from the Florida Keys to the Gulf Coast. But Florida is more than this, it’s a lifestyle with landscapes and an incredible mix of natural beauty and resources. Florida is interconnected with surface and ground water systems that can impact drinking water supplies, wildlife habitat, industry, agriculture and recreation-based economy.
The Florida Association for Water Quality Control (FAWQC) is an association of professionals dedicated to managing, improving, and protecting the quality of Florida’s waters. Each year, the association and their members meet for FAWQC’s Annual Conference in Naples, Florida. The conference offers updates on the 2017 legislative session, presentations on critical Florida water issues, continuing education, and allows us for networking with key representative of industry, regulatory agencies, environmental law firms, consultants and other vendors.

The conference begins tonight with an Opening Welcome Reception at 5 pm at the Naples Grand Beach Resort in beautiful Naples, Florida. As part of the conference, several activities take place during this 3-day event, and COMANCO continues to be the proud sponsor of the annual Tennis Tournament which is scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2017, at the Naples Grande Tennis Courts. Only the ‘best of the best’ dare to enter this tournament since the matches begin at 6:30 am.
