COMANCO crew is currently working hard in NW Louisiana installing a three layer, six material, geosynthetic liner and leachate collection system as a part of a landfill cell expansion. The crew, led by Superintendent Larry Graham, is installing both unreinforced and reinforced geosynthetic clay liner (GCL), beneath a layer of 60mil HDPE geomembrane (smooth liner on the floor, textured liner on the slopes). The final layer will be a double sided geocomposite to complete the installation.
