COMANCO recently completed the welding of a HDPE lined concrete pump station near central Florida. The project consisted of supplying and welding approximately 2,600 SF of concrete protective liner (5mm HDPE SureGrip) in a new pump station. All panel seams and damages in the liner required extrusion welding, and spark testing to ensure no leaks were present.
The COMANCO team, led by foreman Kenny Frazier and project engineer Mohammad Lutfiyya, performed the project with zero incidents, and complied with all Confined Space Permits each shift. All employees in the sump were tied off and had to work around hard-to-reach corners to perform the welds. Great job to the entire team for working so diligently on this project and their dedication to safety!
