Today at COMANCO, 18 employees are present for a Trenching/Excavation Competent Person Training class that is currently in progress. OSHA requires that a Competent Person be on a construction or maintenance site whenever workers are exposed in an excavation. The course covers OSHA requirements, general requirements and competent person responsibilities.
