Yesterday, COMANCO Environmental began a wastewater treatment liner replacement project for O’BRIEN & GERE at a facility in Albany, Kentucky. The project consists of supplying and installing over 60,000 SF each of 100-mil HDPE and DS Geocomposite for an effluent holding basin. In addition, COMANCO is supplying and installing the liner and geocomposite for the 125,000 SF SBR pond. The liner system for the SBR pond includes DS Geocomposite with a layer of 100-mil HDPE covering the entire area. An additional layer of 100-mil HDPE is used on the floor of the SBR pond for extra protection.
The 11 man crew is led by Superintendent Tony Sanchez, Project Manager Clayton Lung, as well as Project Engineers Thomas Raab and Daniel Ward.
COMANCO is currently working on the SBR portion of the project and will return at a later date to complete the effluent basin.
