The COMANCO crew is actively performing excavation and grading activities as part of the landfill expansion project. Preparing the subgrade is one of the most important phases of construction because it creates the stable foundation required for the installation of geosynthetic liners and collection systems.

- More than 3,000 tons of river gravel supplied by Conrad Yelvington
- 115,335 tons of protective cover sand delivered by SB Britt Trucking
