Medel began his career with COMANCO in 2005, bringing a strong work ethic and a commitment to doing quality work the right way. Throughout the past 19 years, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and a willingness to help others succeed. In recognition of his dedication and technical ability, Medel was promoted to Liner Technician in 2019, where he has continued to excel.
Medel Palma Sets New Standards in Wedge Welding
This year, Medel achieved an incredible milestone by leading COMANCO in linear feet of wedge welds completed during 2024. Traditionally, this accomplishment has been achieved by only a select group of Master Seamers, making Medel’s performance even more impressive.
His production numbers far exceeded previous years, with nearly nine times more linear feet welded than he had completed in past seasons. This accomplishment highlights not only his technical skill but also his dedication to improving and growing within the geosynthetics industry.
Medel’s precision, consistency, and commitment to quality continue to strengthen COMANCO’s reputation for delivering reliable geosynthetic installation services nationwide.
