North Florida Gypsum Stack progress continues to move forward as COMANCO brings the Gyp Stack Expansion project closer to completion. Superintendent Jesus Delgado and his crew have worked through challenging conditions to deliver consistent results while maintaining high standards.

Despite Florida’s heavy rainy season and frequent thunderstorms, the team has remained focused on safety, quality, and efficiency throughout every phase of the project.

Large-Scale Liner Installation Efforts

One of the most impressive aspects of this project has been the installation of over 10 million square feet of 60mil HDPE geomembrane liner along with geocomposite layers. This type of work requires precision, coordination, and experience to ensure long-term performance.

The crew has worked alongside subcontractors to complete these installations under difficult weather conditions, demonstrating strong teamwork and accountability on site.
