📚 COMANCO Employees Complete Annual MSHA/FPP Training
Last week, COMANCO employees participated in our annual MSHA/FPP Training, an essential refresher designed to keep team members fully informed and compliant with the latest safety requirements. This training ensures every employee working on Mosaic Florida Sites or related phosphate industry projects is equipped with the most current rules, regulations, and best practices.
Why MSHA/FPP Training Matters for COMANCO Employees
The annual MSHA/FPP Training is a vital part of COMANCO’s commitment to maintaining safe, well-regulated job sites. This 10-hour course fulfills the mandatory requirements set by the Florida Phosphate Producers (FPP) and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
Through classroom instruction, testing, and real-world scenario discussions, employees gain a deeper understanding of hazard recognition, risk reduction, and proper site procedures—ensuring safer work environments for both new and experienced personnel.
Upon successful completion, employees receive their updated FPP card and MSHA certification slip, confirming they meet the qualifications required to perform work on Florida phosphate sites throughout the year.
COMANCO’s Ongoing Commitment to Safety and Compliance
MSHA and FPP regulations evolve over time, making continuous education essential. By conducting MSHA/FPP Training multiple times throughout the year, COMANCO ensures every team member has consistent access to high-quality safety instruction and up-to-date regulatory information.
We extend a special thank-you to Safety Training and Consulting for providing expert instruction and helping our employees stay prepared, confident, and compliant on every project.
