🚧 Landfill Cell Florida Construction Begins with COMANCO
COMANCO has officially started a new Landfill Cell Florida construction project as part of an ongoing cell expansion at a Central Florida solid waste landfill. This new phase continues COMANCO’s long-standing history of delivering high-quality environmental construction solutions throughout the region. The project enhances landfill capacity, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports long-term waste management needs.
Progress Update on the New Landfill Cell Florida Project
Superintendent Jeremy Giles and his skilled crew have begun finalizing the subgrade for the new cell. This essential step ensures a stable, properly graded foundation capable of supporting the future liner system and drainage structures. The team has also installed the manhole and piping required for the tie-in to adjacent landfill cells, allowing the new system to integrate seamlessly with previous phases.
Work is also underway on the perimeter stormwater swales. The crew is removing temporary RCP pipe and preparing the area for permanent Fabriform installation. These improvements help direct stormwater flow, reduce erosion, and protect environmental stability across the landfill site.
