COMANCO and Trader Construction continue to make progress on a gyp stack expansion project in the Southeast US. COMANCO has now installed 2.5 million square feet of 60-mil HDPE textured liner, and 150,000 square feet of Geocomposite vent strips underneath the liner.
Trader continues to prepare subgrade for liner installation. In addition, Trader has placed about 20 acres of protective gyp cover over installed liner.
In the coming weeks, COMANCO will begin the installation of over 30,000 feet of drains. The drains consist of gravel and HDPE pipe, with Geotextile wrapped around. Stay tuned for more updates.
