A COMANCO landfill project in Los Angeles, California consists of seven layers on the slope: two 16 ounce geotextile layers, a 80-mil single-sided textured HDPE layer, two geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) layers, a 60-mil double-sided textured HDPE layer, and a 30-mil double-sided textured HDPE layer. COMANCO has deployed around half the area for the project. The COMANCO field crew led by Superintendent Jose Hernandez has safely worked on the project for about 6 weeks and is currently scheduled to finish the project on-time.
