COMANCO has recently begun yet another task on a Central Florida Landfill Expansion Project. Supervisor Gerardo Ruiz is watching over the crew assigned to installing 1,500LF of 8-inch HDPE perforated pipe. The pipe will be covered by 2-foot of drainage rock wrapped in 8oz geotextile for protection. The crew is using a pipe fusion machine compatible with a data logger to ensure all welds are the best quality for the customer. Once the leachate collection system is complete, COMANCO will place 2-foot of protective cover sand on top of the burrito wrap. Check back in the future to see how this task finishes up!
