COMANCO has started an evaporation pond geomembrane deployment project in the El Paso, Texas area. This project consists of lining eight evaporation ponds with white 40-mil high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane, 150-mil geonet, and 40-mil HDPE conductive geomembrane. The conditions at the site are very windy, but the crew has started the project with no accidents or incidents. The project team includes Superintendent Martin Calderon, Project Manager Scott Harker, and Project Engineer Chris Washa.
