Recently, COMANCO’s SAFETY department recognized a phosphate crew for no major incidents and no injuries during the first 30,000 man hours of a gypstack project.
This major project section consisted of 500,000 cubic yards of material moved and 1.2 million sq ft of the liner and composite laid. To accomplish this first section of the project, with SAFETY at the forefront, is the main reason this crew was rewarded with a SAFETY lunch at Curly Tails BBQ in Bartow, FL.
Then, at the SAFETY lunch, three members of the crew, Juan Morales, Roberto Fernandez, and Tony Morris, were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty. Each was rewarded with a recognition gift card.
Great job living out COMANCO’s core value of SAFETY!
