Licensed Drone Pilot Training Expands COMANCO Capabilities

In October, Lead QA/QC Technician Andre Nembhard attended a two-day drone flight training course with 3rd Rock Air to further develop his expertise in drone operations and aerial technology.
FAA Training Supports Licensed Drone Pilot Certification
The drone flight training was specifically designed to prepare Andre for the FAA Part 107 Exam while helping him understand the rules, regulations, and operational requirements associated with commercial drone operation.
The course included:
- FAA drone regulations and compliance
- Airspace awareness and flight safety
- Drone flight planning procedures
- Hands-on drone operation training
- Equipment inspections and maintenance
- Weather awareness and flight limitations
- Real-world drone application scenarios
This Licensed Drone Pilot training also provided valuable hands-on flight experience to help strengthen operational confidence and improve aerial data collection capabilities.
Andre Nembhard Earns Drone Pilot License
COMANCO is excited to announce that Andre successfully completed all training requirements necessary to earn his Drone Pilot License.
Additionally, Andre passed the Federal Aviation Administration Airman Knowledge Exam, officially becoming another FAA-certified drone operator within the COMANCO team.
