COMANCO Environmental is working on lining two secondary tank containments in Jacksonville, Florida which includes the installation of approximately 80,000 SF of 60-mil textured conductive geomembrane. Nearly 1,000 LF of HDPE embed was formed into the concrete footers to allow for a continuous & consistent extrusion weld for the liner containment. A cushion geotextile layer was put down prior to liner deployment & PVC pipes filled with sand (acting as a ballast system) are being capped with liner strips to keep them in place. Superintendent, Max Macedo, and crew are doing a great job working diligently & safely within tight parameters.
