COMANCO Environmental has recently completed a landfill cell expansion in Houston, Texas. The geosynthetic system included the installation of 675,000 SF of 40mil textured LLDPE geomembrane, reinforced GCL, and 250mil DS geocomposite. The project also included the installation of a LLDPE rain flap and over 1,200 LF of welding to tie into an existing cell.
Superintendent Tommy Terry and a 13 man crew faced hot temperatures and strong winds throughout the installation. Despite the weather conditions, Tommy and the crew provided the customer with the high quality installation that COMANCO is known for.
