COMANCO completed the Cell 6 Liner Installation at Cedar Trail Landfill last week. Led by project Superintendant Jorge Barrantes, the hard working crew was able to complete the installation of the 7.5 acre cell ahead of schedule. The scope of work consisted of six layers of geosynthetic materials: a secondary layer of GCL, 60mil HDPE liner, and 270mil geocomposite, and a primary layer of GCL, 60mil HDPE liner, and 300mil geocomposite. The crew also uncovered existing Cell 5 liner and tied-in over 1000 LF to Cell 6. The COMANCO team did an excellent and safe job!
