Martin’s journey with COMANCO began in 2016 as a Laborer, working alongside his father’s crew. Since then, he has steadily advanced through multiple roles—Liner Tech, QA/QC Technician, Lead QA/QC, Leadman—each step adding depth to his skill set and strengthening his leadership abilities. Along the way, Martin has worked closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers in the West area, often under demanding conditions that tested both technical knowledge and teamwork.
One defining moment in Martin’s career was his opportunity to be part of GeoCAAB, representing COMANCO internationally—an experience that broadened his perspective and reinforced the value of adaptability and collaboration. More recently, leading his own crew marked another important milestone, sharpening his leadership skills and reinforcing the importance of trust, communication, and perseverance.
Reflecting on this progression, Martin shared:
“From starting as a Laborer to stepping into Foreman, I’m proud of my journey and thankful for the training, trust, and opportunities COMANCO has given me. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow, take on new challenges, and help my team succeed in the years ahead.”
As a Foreman, Martin will be responsible for guiding crews, upholding safety standards, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and with quality at the forefront. His reliability, problem-solving ability, and respect for the people he works alongside make him well prepared for this role.
