This week, COMANCO employees at our Elko Office took part in a series of in-depth training sessions focused on strengthening both technical knowledge and field skills. Basic Rigging Training with Elko Tool and Fastener
Led by industry expert Jim Collyer with Elko Tool and Fastener, this session focused on proper lifting techniques, load control, and rigging safety standards. Employees received classroom instruction and practiced rigging methods firsthand, reinforcing critical safety habits that protect both people and equipment on the job.
Fire Extinguisher Training with State Fire
State Fire‘s instructor, Brandon, guided employees through essential fire safety principles before leading a live fire demonstration. Team members practiced discharging extinguishers in real-time, helping them build confidence and readiness in emergencies.
Fall Protection and Telehandler Forklift Training with Safety First
Under the instruction of Keith with Safety First, this course offered a balanced mix of classroom learning and hands-on experience. Employees learned safe practices for working at heights and operating forklifts, then applied those lessons through practical exercises. These sessions equipped our team with the confidence to handle equipment safely and effectively in the field.
