Jose Mendez Angel Earns Promotion to Superintendent
Jose Mendez Angel, a dedicated and long-standing member of the COMANCO team, has been promoted to Superintendent. We’re proud to recognize his continued leadership and contributions to the company.
Jose originally spent 16 years with COMANCO before taking a brief break. He rejoined the company in 2024 as a Foreman and quickly proved once again why he is such an asset. He consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic, leads with integrity, and maintains a positive attitude. As a result, these qualities have made a lasting impact on every project he has worked on.
Since returning, Jose has taken on leadership roles across various job sites, including the Highlands County Landfill Project, where he has been coordinating multiple crews. Additionally, he has led numerous projects across multiple counties in Florida, consistently demonstrating the ability to lead with confidence, skill, and integrity.
In his new role as Superintendent, Jose will take on greater responsibilities by guiding teams, upholding COMANCO’s high standards, as well as driving successful project outcomes. His promotion is not only well earned but also a reflection of the leadership and commitment he brings to the field every day.
When asked what brought him back to COMANCO, Jose shared that it was the culture. “The people here truly care for one another. There is mutual respect, strong support, and a well-structured environment that offers endless training opportunities,” he said. Jose is passionate about becoming the kind of leader that others at COMANCO can rely on and look up to.
