COMANCO’s Employee Spotlight: Hector Yanes
Meet COMANCO’s Employee Spotlight, QC Tech Hector Yanes. Hector Yanes was the only QC tech on-site in Miami throughout 2023. He remained consistent despite the hectic last few months, with all the GCs requesting work simultaneously. At one point, Hector was active on three to four projects, providing QC work for Liner, Geovent, and Pipework in a week with minimal documentation errors. He is an exemplary employee who goes above and beyond to ensure everything gets documented on time.
Hector’s character has earned him the support and respect of his colleagues. Superintendent Billy Menard describes Hector as a “disciplined employee and someone you can always count on when it comes to rising to the challenge.” Additionally, Foreman Miguel Medrano says Hector’s “determination to overcome obstacles combined with his ability to learn a great deal in a very short time illustrates a dedication to his performance.”
