COMANCO Makes Progress on Lagoon Liner Installation in Central Florida
COMANCO progresses on a Lagoon liner installation project in Central Florida. Superintendents Alejandro Solis and Pablo Medina direct the crew in finishing the complex multi-flow ventilation system. Once this ventilation system is in place, the teams will add the 4″ sand base and install the 80mil LLDPE Geomembrane liner. In total, the project requires 147,405 SF of 80mil LLDPE smooth white liner for the floor and 1,433 SF of the 80mil smooth white liner for the wall. These steps follow the installation of the first layer of 529,662 SF of Geotextile and 13,041 FT of the multi-flow ventilation piping system.
The crew takes safety seriously while dealing with the multiple contractors and the congested areas around the Lagoon. Since this is a bustling and crowded construction site, COMANCO constantly communicates with our crewmembers and the other contractors onsite. In conclusion, the 8-acre Lagoon project is about 75% completed and will wrap up next month. The result is a beautiful and sustainable Lagoon ready for public use in Central Florida.
