COMANCO Makes Notable Progress on a Central Florida Expansion Project
COMANCO has made notable progress in expanding a pre-existing Central Florida containment site for a recurring customer. Phase III of this project requires an astonishing 127 acres of liner installation. In other words, the amount of liner needed to complete this project equals approximately 96 football fields!
Superintendent Arnulfo Martinez reports that 125 Acres, or 98%, of the liner installation, is complete. Once complete, the crew will have installed 5,528,288 million SF of 60mil HDPE textured liner. Additionally, they will have installed 991,671 SF of 250mil double-sided Geocomposite. Overall, with the two materials combined, the COMANCO team will have installed and welded over 0.234 square miles of liner for this project alone.
