COMANCO Makes Progress on Miami MGMS Installation
COMANCO makes progress on Miami MGMS (Methane Gas Management System) installation in South Florida. After completing the first stage of Building D, the team now focuses on Building C. First, they installed roughly 233k SF of 60mil smooth black liner as a methane barrier to building C. Now, the crew is installing the 6″ PVC Pipe Header system. Their progress thus far equals about 5.3k FT of piping and nearly 6.45k LF of Geovent.
Methane Gas Management Systems ensure that methane gas cannot enter buildings. Once the project is complete, this system will deviate methane gasses underneath the liner through a series of geovent strips and PVC pipes for safe containment. With no threat of toxic fumes, future warehouse tenants will have a sustainable working environment.
