Superintendent Todd Kirkman and his crew are completing a landfill rain tarp maintenance and installation project in West Central Florida.
The scope of the maintenance project includes the installation of a 20mil HDPE liner system, ballasted by over 10,000 yards of UV-resistant seatbelt webbing and tires.
The rain tarp system allows rainwater to be discharged as normal stormwater, as it prevents contact with any potential contaminants in the landfill.
