A COMANCO crew, led by Foreman Alejandro Loza, recently completed the Gas Mitigation System on a building in South Florida. The crew installed over 550,000 S.F. of 60 mil HDPE liner below the building. The crew also installed over 8,000 LF of 6” PVC pipe and over 4,000 LF of 1” PVC pipe to construct the system. With the Quality and Safety, COMANCO is known for, they installed the system designed to direct harmful gas away from the building. The crew completed the third and final stage of the project by building the 6” PVC risers around the perimeter of the building’s property and completing the installation of the building’s 1” gas probes designed to detect any gas leak in the mitigation system. COMANCO is proud to be a part of this Brownfield reuse project helping the area take advantage of the limited available space.
