A COMANCO crew is finishing up the closure of a gyp stack that started last March at a chemical plant in Central Florida. Gary Mitchell, Project Superintendent, and crew have installed approximately five miles of drainage pipe, most of which was wrapped in a geocomposite curtain in a 17′ deep trench. The crew has also installed 17 manholes, 2 fabriform pads, numerous cleanouts and a few pipe culverts. Next week the crew has one more concrete pour for the cleanouts and will finish the grading.
